The first samples will be put into the watch market this week–just in time for holiday shopping for the few men in this world who really do have everything. Tag Heuer plans to put ten more men’s watches into the marketplace over the next 12 months, with 50 watches the following year. The cost of owning a Mikrotimer? A mere $135, 367.
When Tag Heuer announced the unveiling of the Mikrotimer, they surpassed a record they had set themselves at the start of the year when they announced the Mikrograph 100 watch for men. Indeed, Tag Heuer has a long history of pioneering ultra accurate time mechanisms. This reputation spans back to the 1916 Microsplit–the first 100th of a second stopwatch with a split-second hand.
With the Mikrotimer 1,000, however, Tag has proved that traditional mechanical watch mechanisms can almost keep up with quartz.
While we won’t be retailing–or discounting–the Tag Heuer Mikrotimer any time soon, at eWatches we do have a wide variety of Tag Heuer watches which we retail at highly discounted prices.
